PVP equipment
Hey I've recently been looking at PVP builds on PVX and I understand the skill points and the skills, but i'm not so sure about all of the equipment and what exactly each of them mean. I have copied the following from Warrior/E Gale build and if anyone could break down what it actually means to me that would be great
Equipment Zealous Axe of Defense/Fortitude, 15^50 Elemental Axe of Defense/Fortitude, 15^50 Vampiric Axe of Defense/Fortitude, 15^50 Air Focus of Fortitude, 15/-1 energy Furious Spear of Fortitude, +5 energy Strength Shield of Fortitude, -20% blind Strength Shield of Fortitude, -20% cripple Strength Shields of Fortitude, +10 armor vs each damage type for example what is the 15^50 all about? Runes and Insignia 4x Radiant Insignia Stonefist Insignia Superior Vigor Minor Axe Clarity Restoration Minor Strength or Attunement, depending on preference Some of these I don't even seem to have the runes, for or insignias where do I go about getting the ones I need? Thanks in advance |

1) I do believe that build is trolly
2) 15^50 refers to the Strength of Honor inscription on teh axe 3) insignias and runes and shiznitz can be unlocked via the Preist of Balthazar or by purchasing them from the rune trader. |

or by using an id kit on an unidentified blue purple or gold loot item that has that particular rune/inscription/insignia on it.

I'll go see the Priest of Balthazar an see what is available to me. I'm also not sure what you mean by 'trolly' |

And 'trolly' means it's a troll build. Since PvX is going to move to Curse in the near future, unless I'm mistaken, the admins/mods/powers that be have stopped keeping the site in check. So you'll occasionally stumble across a build that's absolutely worthless but tagged as 'great' or 'meta'. |

You need to have it all.
If you're low on faction for unlocks, get the skills first, then the most standard mods for each equipment piece. 30+ for weapons/shields, vampiric/zealous/runes/insignias. Then you can work on the rest while not being severely disadvantaged. |

I suggest you to use this forum (check the gladiator's arena section) to find some hint about builds and strategies. Stay away from PvX Wiki unless you are able to understand what are the "serious" builds
In that section there is also some thread about GvG videos, with links to some YouTube channel providing such videos. Also rawr's site has amazing GvG videos. The first unlock i suggest you to choose is the superior vigor. Then the +30Hp for shield and AR+5 and/or HP+30 for weapons, spear (defensive set) in particular. Then skills, weapons' mods and runes/insigniae. |

Well the gale axe build on the wiki is just a very good build, just change gale to shock, sprint to rush and endure pain to bulls strike.
